A brand-new GranuDrum, the unique rotating drum system manufactured by Granutools, has been recently installed by our production engineers in the laboratory of the Centre of Industrial process technology (CIPT), part of Process Engineering for Sustainable Systems (ProcESS) unit, situated in the Diepenbeek Campus of KU Leuven.

The instrument will be used to investigate the flowability of new pharma formulations under the supervision of Prof. Leen Braeken. The GranuDrum will support the experimental characterization work of one of the researchers, Nele Merkelbach, in the frame of her innovative PhD project.
