Our Distributor,  DKSH, will attend the 10th DPI China Technology Conference

The 10th DPI China Technology Conference, organized by DFE China, will take place on March 30-31, in Shanghai, China with presentations in the field of development of Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI) products. The Conference will focus on the new technology, market trend, regulatory, etc., of DPI development and provide the platform to network with local and global industry.

Visit DKSH to discover how Granutools can help you with Dry Powder Inhaler products

Our distributor, DKSH, will exbibit the GranuPack and GranuHeap. Discover how Granutools instruments is useful in the development and quality control of Dry Powder Inhalers (DPI).

With a better understanding of your powders through powder flow characterization, it will also help you overcome various problems faced by DPI: among others, powder aging, agglomeration induced by electrostatic charges, blend homogeneity during capsule filling.

Virtual oral presentation: New Insights on Electrostatic Properties of DPI Blends

Giuseppe R. Del Sorbo, PhD, will hold a presentation on the Electrostatic Investigation of DPI Blends.

DPI products typically consists of a homogeneous blend of the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and an excipient. Since the API is used in very small quantities, the excipient’s properties affect the blend uniformity and drug release. Among these properties electrostatic effect plays a key role in the development of robust DPI products.

During the talk a deep investigation on tribocharging properties (using GranuCharge) of different excipients will be presented, as well as the analysis of the packing dynamics (using GranuPack) and rheology (using GranuDrum).

You will discover how our instruments can help with the design of new DPI blends with improved performances.

See you there!
