Poster Presentation: Electrode manufacturing improvement with new powder characterization methods

With the poster presentation titled “Electrode manufacturing improvement with new powder characterization methods”, we will present innovative methods to characterize powder for electrode manufacturing improvement.

These methods are based on geometries and share states generally encountered in manufacturing processes and improved by automated and rigorous protocols. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fibrillation for dry electrode manufacturing was investigated with tapped density (GranuPack) and flowability (GranuDrum) measurements. Powder fibrillation and flowability were characterized and quantified with both complementary tools pathing the way for dry-process improvement.
