This study investigates powder properties crucial for powder bed fusion additive manufacturing (PBF-AM) quality and defect reduction. A novel experimental setup assesses static and dynamic characteristics of IN625 Ni-based superalloy powder, including particle morphology, size distribution, density, flowability, and dynamic angle of repose via Granudrum™. Findings aim to enhance recoating parameter optimizations for PBF processes.
