This study explores using asphalt emulsion for enhancing fine coal dewatering, investigating agglomeration selectivity, size enlargement rate, agglomerate strength, and settling behavior. Results indicate a reduction in vacuum filter cake moisture from 35% to 26% with a 0.5% asphalt emulsion, highlighting its potential for improving dewatering efficiency in the coal industry.
