Modifying the shape of the grain is often used to improve the macroscopic behavior of powders. In this study, we compared three grades of powder shown in the figure below. Using the GranuDrum we were able to compare the cohesive index of such powder and even tho at low processing speed the spray-dried powder had the best behavior while the fine period was the worst. We noticed that at high processing speed all the powder behaved exactly the same.
